Boilermaker 49 is in the books! We had a great time volunteering with the Oneida County Team!!!! What a great group! It is an amazing event that brings family and friends together each summer - binding the community we all share. Records were broken for this 2026 Boilermaker Road Race, and our Oneida County Volunteer group had a front row seat. Thanks to all the runners, organizers and volunteers.

This Boilermaker Run weekend we are highlighting the Oneida County Supreme Court Law Library with Finegan Fridays! Leslie Stolins is the Senior Law Librarian for this law library located at 235 Elizabeth Street in Utica, NY. This invaluable asset and its staff provide free access to primary legal texts, electronic research databases, and public access computers. They offer legal research assistance on how to locate case law, statues and court rules.

Perfect weather for the perfect venue today: The Terrace at Munson Cafe's official ribbon cutting ceremony at the Munson Museum in Utica. The revamped cafe will be open for lunch from 11 am to 3 pm, Tuesday through Saturday, and for Sunday brunch from noon to 4 pm. We are so happy about this re-opening for our community!

This Friday I have the pleasure of introducing two of our current Summer Interns that have joined our office via the College Corps Intern Program coordinated by the Oneida County Workforce Development Group. Arianna Parsons and Kaelyn Barry are helping us out this summer while past interns have included Paityn Billard, Noah Cohen, Jacob Wilson and Kenny Finegan. This intern program allows college students to obtain real workforce experience as well as gain valuable connections.

It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces today at the Youth Employment Program Kickoff at the Alumni College Center at Mohawk Valley Community College! This is a great program for our young folks to gain exposure to the local workforce here in Oneida County.
