09/01/2026 - OUTDOOR BURN RESTRICTIONS IN EFFECT FOR CITY OF CLINTON, MO:

Due to current extremely dry conditions in our area, Outdoor Burn Restrictions are now in place for the City of Clinton, Missouri. No burn permits will be issued during this timeframe. All forms of outdoor burning are restricted to include current permitted recreational burn pits. We also encourage our neighbors in rural Henry County to refrain from conducting any outdoor burning until conditions improve.

These restrictions will remain in place until our area receives a sizeable amount of moisture. Please stay tuned to our page for updates.

💧 **WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION – MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14** 💧

The City of Urich would like to notify residents that on **Monday, September 14, shortly after 8:00 AM**, the water will be shut off to allow crews to complete the **tie-in for the new water tower**.

🚰 **Please be aware:** This work may result in water being shut off for **some or all City residents**.

⏰ The water shutoff is expected to last approximately **3 hours**, although the actual time may vary depending on the work being completed.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we complete this important improvement to our City's water system.

🚨 **SEWER SMOKE TESTING TODAY** 🚨

The City of Urich will be conducting **sewer smoke testing today** as part of our ongoing sewer system inspection and maintenance.

Residents may notice **smoke coming from sewer lines, manholes, roof vents, or other areas around their property.** Please don’t be alarmed—the smoke is non-toxic and is being used to help the City identify potential leaks, cracks, or other issues within the sewer system.
