Starting September 3rd Game Night will be at Triple B in Johnston from 5-7pm!!

There will be free cheese and pepperoni pizza for our first Triple B Game Night! (More food is available to order)

Inclusive Play Atlas has a directory of 25 Iowa accessible playgrounds and parks including details about wheelchair-accessible play areas & pathways,
adaptive and inclusive playground equipment, sensory-friendly features, inclusive swings and spinners, shade and seating, restroom accessibility, trails and other nearby amenities. Northview Park in Urbandale, Miracle Park in Ankeny, and Emeis Park in Davenport are just three that are available around the state!

New location for Respite Connection’s game night!!!
Game night needed a new home. Triple B’s in Johnston offered a room to host us the 1st and 3rd Thursday every month!

August 20th will be the LAST game night at Valley West. 😢 BUT starting September 3rd it will be at Triple B’s going forward! 🤗

Haven’t heard of Triple B’s?? Inspired by and named after their son- They were built on the belief that everyone deserves the chance to belong and succeed. They employ and train teens and adults with special needs, giving hands-on experience in a supportive workplace.

Adel Family Fun Center is organizing a Special Olympics bowling league! The bowling league only has spots for 36 bowlers, this is for all ages and abilities and will be a commitment for every Saturday from 11:30am-2:00pm starting August 29th-October 10th. They are also asking for volunteers to help cheer on the bowlers! 🎳🎳
