💛 Thank You for Supporting Our Blessing Barns! 💛

We want to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated food, hygiene products, and other needed items to our Blessing Barns.

Every donation—big or small—helps a person or family in our community. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful to have such caring and generous people standing beside us.

Because of you, we can continue to keep our Blessing Barns stocked and available for those who need a little extra help.

Give a little, take a little. Together, we make a difference! 🏡❤️

Give a little, take a little.

Over the last several weeks, we have received a lot of videos, pictures, and messages from people concerned about others taking advantage of the Blessing Barns.

Please know this: we do our very best to help everyone. That was the whole reason these barns were started. Bob had a dream that everyone could have something when they needed it. No judgment. No shame. Just neighbors helping neighbors.

But when someone takes more than they need, it takes away from a child, a family, an elderly person, or someone else who may truly have nothing that day.

With school being out, the barns are getting more traffic than usual. We understand times are hard. Groceries are expensive. Life is heavy for a lot of people right now. That is exactly why these barns matter so much.

I personally have put my own money into the barns many times. Yes, that is my choice, and I do it because I believe in the mission. But please remember, there are also so many others giving from their own pockets too. Pastor Mike and Urbana Naz, along with Pastor Isaac and Urbana Friends Church, have helped us all out in such a big way. They have donated, supported, prayed, and stood beside the Blessing Barns because they believe in helping people too.

When people see the barns being taken advantage of, it makes them not want to donate. And that hurts everyone.

So we are asking from the heart: please only take what you need. Leave something for the next person. Respect the barns. Respect the people who donate. Most importantly, respect Bob’s dream.

Please also know, we see a lot. If the cameras don’t catch it, the public does. People are watching because they care about these barns and what they stand for.

Let’s get back to the true meaning:

Give a little. Take a little. Love your neighbor. Help when you can. Take only what you need.

Together, with our community, Pastor Mike and Urbana Naz, Pastor Isaac and Urbana Friends Church, and every person who gives from the heart, we can keep Bob’s dream alive and make sure the Blessing Barns continue to bless the people who need them most.
