U-Cycle, Urbana's Recycling Program The City of Urbana's U-CYCLE program offers convenient recycling options for all residents within city limits.

By interacting with the City of Urbana, you agree to the terms of the City's social media policy: https://www.urbanail.gov/home-page/page/follow-us-social-media Residents in single-family through 4-unit housing may participate in the curbside recycling program. Recycling carts are delivered to residents upon request. Residents in multifamily housing (5+ units) have green recycling carts onsite for easy and convenient recycling.

Reminder! Please tape the battery terminals for all lithium-lithium ion batteries and rechargeable batteries before depositing them into the battery recycling tubes at the City’s drop off locations. Packing, scotch or electrical tape will work. Lithium batteries are a fire concern so we want to keep it safe! Thank you!

Portions of the curbside U-Cycle Monday route is delayed as driver had truck issues. The driver is now back on route. Please continue to leave recycling curbside for collection today. Thank you!

U-Cycle will be running its regular route schedule next week, June 29-July 3, since the Independence Day holiday falls on a Saturday this year. Please continue to set recycling curbside on your normal route schedule. Thank you for recycling!

U-Cycle Holiday Schedule

Due to the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 25, all U-Cycle routes will be delayed by one day. If your recycling is picked up on Monday normally it will be delayed until Tuesday, and so forth for the remainder of the week.
