We are excited to announce that signed copies of "A Rainbow From My Heart" by nationally recognized victims' rights advocate Roberta Roper are now available!

This book is a heart-wrenching and deeply personal account of the murder of her beloved oldest child, Stephanie Roper and the devastating impact that homicide leaves on families and communities. It is a must-read for anyone who wants to truly understand what victims and their loved ones carry long after a tragedy occurs.

A signed copy is yours with a $100 donation to MCVRC. Every dollar goes directly toward supporting crime victims across Maryland.

MCVRC joined Thiru Law at a press conference announcing our intervention in a federal class action case to stop $8 million from being paid out to convicted criminals, many of whom have never paid a single dollar of restitution to their victims. Some victims have waited over 10 years for court-ordered payments that never came. That ends now.

We believe the answer is simple: you don't pay convicted criminals when they still owe money to their victims. We will keep fighting until the system agrees.

If you or someone you know may be owed restitution in the Scott v. Baltimore County case, contact us immediately at 877-VICTIM1

We are honored to announce Katie Curran O'Malley, Executive Director of the Women's Law Center of Maryland, retired Baltimore City District Court Judge, and former First Lady of Maryland as our Roberta Roper Lifetime Achievement honoree.
For over three decades, Katie has been a tireless voice for survivors. First as a prosecutor, then as a judge who became one of Maryland's leading experts on domestic violence, and now leading the Women's Law Center. Her life's work is a living example of what it means to listen, act, and advocate.
