Judge Judy Lynn Woodall This page is for the Prince George's Committee to Elect the Sitting Judges' Slate for 2018. The Sitting Judges are: Judge Tiffany H. Anderson, Judge Robin Gill Bright, Judge William A. Snoddy, & Judge Sean D. Wallace. The Committee is a non-partisan group devoted to the principle of ensuring that our sitting judges on the Prince George's C

ounty Circuit Court, who have been appointed by the Governor following a lengthy and detailed vetting process by our local and state bar associations and judicial nominating commissions, remain on the bench. As you may know, the Circuit Court is the only court in the State of Maryland where sitting judges must appear on the ballot once appointed, and as such are susceptible to attack by challengers. Any attorney licensed to practice law in Maryland, over age 30, who has resided in Prince George's County for 6 months, can run against one of our sitting judges. The Committee believes that, by protecting our sitting judges, we protect the judicial appointment process and the principle of having the most qualified individuals serve as our judges.
