ULUSD Emergency Pick-Up Update

Daily bus riders will be taken to their regular bus stops. If a parent/guardian CANNOT pick up their student at the bus stop, the student will be TRANSPORTED to the reunification site behind Upper Lake Grocery on Main Street, across from Northshore Fire Department. Students who do not normally ride the bus and are still on campus will also be TRANSPORTED to the reunification site. Reunification will begin at 10:30 a.m. Parents/guardians MUST bring identification for pick-up.

Emergency Message - School Closure

Hello Upper Lake Unified School District Families,

We want to keep you informed and ensure you have accurate information.

This morning, we learned that four Lake County high schools — Lower Lake, Middletown, Kelseyville, and Clear Lake — received a bomb threat via voicemail. At this time, Upper Lake Unified School District schools have not received a direct threat.

Out of an abundance of caution, and based on the recommendation of the Sheriff’s Office, we are closing schools today. The Sheriff’s Office is recommending closure out of an abundance of caution.

If you are able to come retrieve your child, please do so and call the school to let them know.

Buses will begin taking students home on the following schedule:

Elementary schools: 10:30 a.m.

-

Middle school: 11:30 a.m.

-

High school: 12:30 p.m.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as needed.
