Septa D1 & D2 Trolley Information

Starting with the first train Saturday morning, through end of service Saturday evening, on the first Saturday of each month (November 7, December 5, January 6…) SEPTA shuttle buses will replace all D1 & D2 Trolleys between 69th Street Transportation Center and end of line Media (Orange Street) & Sharon Hill Stations. Customers should plan for approximately 15 minutes of additional travel time and look for signage at stations for bus boarding locations.

This bus substitution allows SEPTA to conduct regular overhead wire inspections and maintenance. In addition to these inspections, SEPTA just finished an extensive hazardous tree removal project along both D lines. This project, along with the inspections will greatly reduce the sudden onset of a lengthy disruption of service to each line during moments of inclement weather.

Senator Tim Kearney is partnering with the Community YMCA of Eastern Delaware County for the 2026 Diaper Drive that benefits DELCO families, Healthy Start, Nurse-Family Partnership, WIC & Maternity Care Coalition.

Please donate new and unused packages of diapers, baby formula and wipes! Thank you for supporting our community!

Donations will be collected through Friday, December 11th and will be picked up for distribution at the end of the drive.

Drop off at Senator Kearney's Upper Darby District Office (51 Long Lane) right across the street from our Municipal Building!
