Scholarship Prep Upland Award-winning, university-inspired free TK-8 public charter school program - Academics, Athletics, and Arts

As a free, public charter school, Scholarship Prep welcomes all students to enroll. An integral part of the Scholarship Prep program is to provide comprehensive, wraparound services to support our diverse foster/homeless youth population in achieving their unlimited potential. Foster/Homeless Youth and their families will receive additional guidance and support. We also support those students nee

ding Special Education services, English Learners, and those most underserved. We also believe strongly in developing community partnerships to maximize the support we can provide to students and families.

Did you know? Scholarship Prep Upland has four sister campuses across Southern California, and one of them just had an incredible two weeks in the news.

Our Scholarship Prep South Bay Dolphins were featured on Spectrum News 1, in the Los Angeles Times, and on ABC7, all for the same three things: Morning Meetings, where every Scholar starts the day feeling seen and ready to learn, a Family Resource Center stocked with what families need most, and staff trained to help Scholars name and manage big feelings.

These programs and supports are not just a South Bay thing. It’s the same way we show up intentionally for all Scholars, right here in the Inland Empire, led by your own incredible staff!

Lights low, minds on. 📚 In Ms. Armstrong's 5th grade class at Scholarship Prep Upland, Scholars are practicing context clues, highlighting words and details right on the page to unlock new vocabulary before they ever open a dictionary.

🔍 Recent words: maneuver, specialized, elite, objective, traditional, all pulled straight from a piece on the Paralympic Movement. It's a chill vibe in a class of Scholars doing some pretty sharp thinking.

When temperatures climb, our youngest Scholars skip the playground and beat the heat with a classroom game. An image goes up on the whiteboard, and they race to find the object called out. It's kind of like a live game of Where's Waldo, and it's a fun way to stay cool, keep busy, and get the wiggles out!

Learning the days of the week is a lot more fun with a song and a celebration!

Each morning, our youngest Scholarship Prep Upland Panthers gather for Circle Time to sing, count, and start the day together as a community. Add in a birthday shoutout, and it’s officially the best part of the morning.

We believe small routines build big things: confidence, consistency, and a sense of belonging before the day even really starts. 🐾

Panthers, it was just too quiet on campus without you! It was great to have our students and families back at Scholarship Prep Upland for this morning's Meet Your Teacher event.

New and returning Scholars got to know their teachers, picked up free dress code items, and are ready for our first day of school on Monday, August 10th!
