25 years later we have not forgotten the events of that day, or the sacrifices made by our brothers and sisters.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember, honor, and keep their memories alive.

Firefighters from across the state came together to climb 110 flights—each step taken in remembrance of the firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

We climb for those who can no longer climb and to keep them and their memories alive. To those that lost their lives that day and the countless lives lost after.

A special thank you to our Brother, Rene Fernandez, for putting together this video and helping preserve the meaning and memories of this day.

Cody Puckett is a firefighter and paramedic with the Belton Fire Department, where he has proudly served for the past three years. He is also the son of a Killeen Professional Fire Fighter. Earlier this year, Cody was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and is now preparing to undergo surgery to have his thyroid removed. Following the procedure, he will require lifelong medication to replace the hormones his thyroid would normally produce.
