Last week, CalVCB held our Regional Conference in Southern California. We connected with fellow victim advocates for a workshop focused on building knowledge, sharing resources, and strengthening the support provided to victims and survivors.

During the session, advocates explored:
📌 How to explain CalVCB benefits in plain language
💡 Common eligibility myths and misconceptions
🤝 Real-life scenarios and practical tools for client conversations

The regional workshop provided an opportunity for advocates of all experience levels to connect, learn, and strengthen their understanding of how to help victims and survivors access available resources.

Together, we’re working to ensure more people understand their options and know where to turn for support. 💜
