📌 VETLANTA welcomes The US Secretary of Veterans Affairs to Atlanta!

📆 On September 8, VETLANTA will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame, with VA Secretary Doug Collins joining us as our keynote speaker.

Secretary Collins, the 12th Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, brings a unique perspective to the role, having served as a Navy chaplain and later as an Air Force Reserve chaplain, including a deployment to Iraq in 2008.

Before the keynote, The Washington Tattoo will set the stage with a live Fife and Drum performance in Revolutionary War-era uniforms, a great way to honor our nation’s history as we celebrate 250 years. Followed by words from Mark Reilly, CEO.

Prior to all the scheduled programming, we have open networking, veteran focused vendors, and the opportunity to connect with Atlanta’s veteran, corporate, and public-sector communities.

📌 The Secretary of Veterans Affairs is coming to Atlanta.

🗓️ On September 8, VETLANTA marks America's 250th at the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame of Fame — and VA Secretary Doug Collins is delivering the keynote.

Secretary Collins is the 12th Secretary of U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, leading the department responsible for health care, benefits, education, and memorial affairs for more than nine million enrolled veterans. He came to the role by way of the chapel, not the boardroom: a Navy chaplain in the late 1980s, later an Air Force Reserve chaplain, deployed to Iraq in 2008.

Before he speaks, The Washington Tattoo performs — live Fife and Drum in period Revolutionary War uniform, led by J. Mark Reilly, former Corps Sergeant Major and Acting Commander of the U.S. Army "Old Guard" Fife and Drum Corps.

Ninety minutes of open networking. A full vendor row. And the room where Atlanta's veteran, corporate, and public-sector communities actually talk to each other.

Tuesday, September 8 · 4:30–8:00 PM
Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame
Free. 250 seats.

✅ Registration required — and this one will fill.
