While working at the local county fair, Deputies Buehrer and Harris with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office took some time to join the kids on the rides. The kids loved having them there (the deputies had a great time, too)!

September 21–25 is National Farm Safety and Health Week! 🚜🌾

This year, we’re calling our campaign “Safety Today, Success Tomorrow.”

🚜 Today: Equipment & Rural Roadway Safety

Slow down. Share the road. Get home safe.

Harvest season means more tractors, combines, trucks, and other farm equipment on the roads. For farmers, getting from one field to the next is part of the job. For motorists, sharing the road safely can make all the difference.

🌾 Motorists: Slow down, give farm equipment plenty of space, and be patient when passing.

🚜 Farmers: Use lights and flashers, display slow-moving vehicle signs, and stay alert when entering or traveling on roadways.

Everyone has a role in making rural roads safer. Let’s make sure everyone gets home safely.
