All of the repairs Faith in Action of Oakland County does for our low-income seniors is done free of charge. To this date we have completed in excess of 200 safety repairs for our elderly in our county. We rely on donations from this event to pay for our supplies. Thank you for your support. ☺️

OUR gang at the Quality of Life Adult Day Care 'this week" are going to begin working on our yearly Adult Day Care projects that will be sold over Mother's Day weekend at Costco's in Auburn Hills. 100% of the profit for these sales will be donated to Children's Miracle Network. We are so honored to be a part of this project that we have worked with these past 4 years. You will be 'wowed' by what we are doing this year. 😊

If you receive the AgeWays Nonprofit Senior Services Connect magazine that just came out be sure to read: The Loss Before the Loss!! This is by far the most meaningful article regarding the mourning of loved ones while they are still with us. I have experienced this and did find this article so helpful for healing.❤

Some people think that an Adult Daycare is where families need a break and would like to take their loved ones to a place where they can have a day to themselves. And here at the Quality of Life Adult Day Healthcare Center that is what we provide, 'that place'....... BUT we do not plan the 'work day' as a 'sit around day' we put them to 'work'! It is exciting to see how thrilled they are to work with each other doing projects that even families were amazed watching them do. For all of the work they have accomplished in the past years and to this date their products were sold with 100% of proceeds going to Children's Miracle Network. To this date we have donated over $4,000 to CMN. We are so thankful to have had and still have some of the most AMAZING senior work force participants EVER!! This is living a life with purpose.

Artists come alive at our Adult Day Center!

Over this past Mother's Day weekend our group's projects provided a variety of 'birdhouses'. Even though this picture indicated a few objects there were more that sold behind the table. 100% of the profit ($1090) went to Children's Miracle Network. We were so proud of our group.

Just in case you wanted to know what we have been up to lately......This is one. Our group painted 25 of these unique hanging shelves. Costco sold every one of them over our last Mother' Day weekend which helped us raise money for Children's Miracle Network. Stay tuned there are more pictures of what we do coming.
