How about "flight is an indication of guilt?"

Batay na rin sa batas at sa mga mahabang ehemplo o desisyon ng Korte Suprema na ang pagtatago o ang pagtakas, pagiwas ng isang akusado sa mga otoridad nang walang malinaw o katanggap-tanggap na dahilan ay malinaw maituturing ebidensya na nagpapakita ng kanyang kaalaman na sya ay may sala (consciousness of guilt).

The Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) criticized over the weekend the government’s P50-million bounty for the arrest of Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, saying it violates his constitutional right to the presumption of innocence.
