Ashton has been located. Thank you to our community for helping find him.

Please help us find Ashton Sklar Bencoma. Ashton is 22 years old and was last seen on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 8:00 AM, in the area of Santa Clara Street and F Street.
Ashton stands at 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 275 pounds. Ashton has collar-length, straight, brown hair and brown eyes. Ashton was last seen wearing a black shirt, red shorts, and black shoes. He is not currently wearing his prescription glasses.

Last night we learned of the recent passing of former Fresno EOC Foster Grandparents Margaret Vargas. Those who knew her referred to her as Grandma Margaret. She was 94 years old and served with the program and was at the Sanctuary Youth Shelter from 2001 until it's closure. She will truly be missed.

Shelter Services Coordinator Samm Wood has worked with Fresno EOC since 2021 and works directly with our Transitional Aged Youth. She says that "she loves that her role supports youth during an important stage of life." Some fun facts: she writes poetry 📝, she likes to hike and do yoga 🧘‍♀️, and her first job was at Subway 🥪.

Mobile Shower operations will be offline on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. Services will continue on Tuesday May 26th.

Anita Roman Ponce, Administrative Assistant III has been with Fresno EOC for almost 19 years helping our teams in Homeless Services & Fresno EOC Central Valley Against Human Trafficking. Case Manager Stephanie Hobbs has worked with Fresno EOC since 2021 and currently works with our permanent supportive housing projects. She says that "she enjoys watching someone's face light up when they are told they're finally getting housed after so many years of experiencing homelessness." Some fun facts: her first job was at Uncle Harry's New York Bagelry & Coffeehouse 🥯☕; she's an early bird 🐦; and her favorite TV show is Virgin River 📺.
