REMINDER 🌊 Our second Junior Guard tryout of he season is this evening May 28th. Make sure you are registered for Junior Guards this summer and come on out to one of our tryout dates. We will be having our uniform sale on site! Whether you are required to tryout or not, come grab a uniform onsite.

🗓 Tryout Dates:
May 31st OR June 28th

🕔 Arrive between 5:00PM to 7:00PM - no appointments necessary

Before your first beach day of summer, make sure your family is prepared:

✅ Know how to identify rip currents
✅ Understand beach flag warnings
✅ Have a meeting spot if you get separated
✅ Apply & reapply SPF 30+ sunscreen
✅ Hydrate before you feel thirsty
✅ Never swim alone
✅ Know the location of the nearest lifeguard tower
✅ Have emergency contacts saved

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Drowning doesn't look like the movies. ⚠️

Most people who are drowning can't wave, yell, or signal for help. Here's what to actually look for:

👀 Head low in water, mouth at water level
👀 Hair covering the face
👀 Not using legs to tread water
👀 Body vertical, not horizontal
👀 Hyperventilating or gasping

If you see this, act immediately. Call for a lifeguard. Call 911.

🏆 Back Bay Jr. Guard Elites
Ages 8-15
- A 2-week advanced training program for motivated young athletes ready to level up their ocean knowledge, conditioning, teamwork, and Jr. Guard readiness.

🐚 Back Bay Summer Camp
Ages 6-13
- 1-week day camps introducing kids to the ocean environment through a mix of aquatic adventures and dry land activities.

Whether your camper is training for what's next or dipping their toes in for the first time, the Back Bay is where it all begins.
