I am endorsing Bob Fioretti for State’s Attorney. I served with Bob in the City Council for several years. We fought together for affordable housing, great schools and safe streets.

Bob will be the first civil rights attorney ever to be State’s Attorney. That’s how we know Bob will be tough, smart AND fair on crime. I know our community usually votes for Democratic candidates and I’ve never asked anyone to vote for a Republican candidate before, however, this time our community needs to split our ticket and cross over. He is in touch and understands communities of color because he represented a community of color as a sitting Alderman. So I ask you for your vote and punch 55 for my friend and former colleague Republican Bob Fioretti for Cook County State’s Attorney."

Today marked my final City Council Meeting. 13 years flew by!

I'd like to thank:
⭐️My amazing staff who worked tirelessly to serve the hardworking families of the 26th Ward.
⭐️Mayor Lightfoot for commitment and support in bringing funding to the 26th Ward to build affordable housing units to fight gentrification
⭐️ My colleagues past and present on the City Council. We may not have agreed on every item but we were committed to support one another's vision for our respective
⭐️ My family for their love, support, and sacrifice
⭐️ But most importantly, thank you to my supporters and voters who entrusted me with your votes to represent your interests throughout the years as your Cook County Commissioner and 26th Ward Alderman
