ODOT has made the repairs to the road and SR 619 is open for all traffic.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – SR 619 🚧

Please be advised that the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has closed State Route 619 between Cleveland Avenue and Mogadore Avenue due to emergency road repairs.

A section of the roadway at Redwood Avenue buckled yesterday, creating a hazardous condition that has made the road impassable. ODOT crews are working to repair the damaged roadway as quickly and safely as possible.

We understand that the closure location may be inconvenient for some motorists. However, ODOT is required to follow specific safety regulations regarding where road closures are established. These decisions are made with the safety of both the traveling public and roadway workers in mind.

Please avoid the area, follow all posted detours, and allow extra travel time as you make your plans.

We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation while repairs are completed. Updates will be shared as they become available.

Today, we would like to wish the LCCS Baseball Team the very best of luck as they compete for the D6 State Championship at 10:00 AM!

It has been an honor for our officers to es**rt these outstanding young men through our community on their journey to the biggest game of the season. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment have made their school, families, and community incredibly proud.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the parents who have supported these athletes every step of the way, as well as our partners at the Uniontown Fire Department and the Stark County Sheriff's Office (Dep. Stansberry)for helping make these es**rts possible. The support shown throughout our community is a testament to what makes Uniontown such a special place.

Good luck, Tigers! The entire community is behind you as you take the field today. Play hard, enjoy the moment, and know that you've already made us proud.

Thank you to Dave Cardarella & Marilyn Perdue from the Stark County Bike Club for the Baltimore New Baltimore ice cream cards! Our Officers will reward kids who are wearing their helmets and practicing bike safety by giving them a gift card for a free ice cream cone at New Baltimore Ice Cream. Remember to spread the word about bike safety to your kids and watch for our Officers in your neighborhoods.
