🎄 Help us create the magic of Christmas in the Square! 🎄

Christmas in the Square returns to Downtown Uniontown on Friday, November 27, 2026, and we are inviting local businesses, organizations, families, and community supporters to be part of one of Downtown Uniontown’s favorite holiday traditions.

Your sponsorship helps support an evening filled with the parade, live entertainment, Santa, holiday vendors, the lighting of Storey Square, and more—while also supporting the ongoing work of the Uniontown Downtown Business District Authority.

Sponsorship opportunities are available at several levels, from our $2,500 Presenting Partner sponsorship to $50–$100 Stocking Stuffer community sponsorships. Business sponsorships include opportunities for event recognition, social media promotion, booth space, WMBS recognition, and more depending on the sponsorship level.

✨ Presenting Partner opportunities are limited to four, so businesses interested in our highest level of visibility are encouraged to reach out early.

The Uniontown Downtown Business District Authority will hold a combined Christmas in the Square Committee & Business Committee meeting tonight at Vito’s Teahouse, 25 West Main Street.

🎄 Christmas in the Square: We’re looking for volunteers, ideas, and community members who want to help make this year’s celebration special.

🏙️ Business Committee: Join the ongoing conversation about downtown development, current projects, and opportunities to strengthen Downtown Uniontown.

Everyone is welcome — you do not need to be a committee member to attend.

🌟 Serve Your Community – Join the Uniontown Downtown Business District Authority Board! 🌟

The Uniontown Downtown Business District Authority (UDBDA) is accepting Letters of Interest from individuals interested in serving on our Board of Directors.

The UDBDA is dedicated to strengthening Downtown Uniontown by supporting local businesses, encouraging economic development, coordinating community events, and promoting projects that make our downtown a vibrant place to live, work, shop, and visit. Our mission is to provide centralized management, information, and programs that enhance Downtown Uniontown’s economy—both now and into the future. 

Who is eligible?
Applicants must be:
✔️ A taxpayer in the City of Uniontown,
✔️ A business owner or operator in the City of Uniontown, or
✔️ A resident of the City of Uniontown. 

If you’re passionate about the future of Downtown Uniontown and want to help make a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

Please submit a Letter of Interest describing your background and why you would like to serve.

🌟 Meet Our UDBDA Intern – Seth Basinger!

As we celebrate National Intern Day, we're proud to recognize Seth Basinger for the dedication, professionalism, and fresh perspective he brought to the Uniontown Downtown Business District Authority (UDBDA) this summer.

Seth is pursuing a double major in Finance and Accounting while maintaining a strong academic record and developing a passion for economic and community development. His career goals include helping businesses and communities grow through sound financial management and strategic planning.

Throughout his internship, Seth played an important role in preparing the UDBDA for its annual audit by organizing financial records, improving documentation, and helping strengthen administrative processes. He also supported the Authority's efforts to market Uniontown's Central Business District, assisted with planning for the proposed Business Improvement District (BID), and contributed ideas that will help shape the future of downtown revitalization.

Whether assisting with economic development initiatives, researching new opportunities, or supporting day-to-day operations, Seth consistently demonstrated a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine commitment to serving the community. His willingness to learn and take on new challenges made him a valuable member of our team.

Outside of the office, Seth is equally dedicated to leadership and teamwork. A lifelong soccer player, he will be stepping into a new role this season as an assistant high school soccer coach, where he'll have the opportunity to mentor young athletes and share his passion for the game.

Thank you, Seth, for your hard work and the many contributions you've made to the UDBDA and Fay-Penn this summer. We appreciate your commitment to making a difference in our communities and look forward to seeing all you accomplish in your academic, professional, and coaching career.
