We’re thrilled to share some great news! Thanks to the generous support of Ford Business Technologies, the Uniontown Downtown Business District Authority now has three refurbished laptops ready for action! These laptops will power our projects, including the upcoming AmeriCorps VISTA role (supported through Fay-Penn) and our Experience Works Plus interns through the Workforce Investment Board. With better tools, we can advance downtown revitalization efforts even further. We’re incredibly grateful to Ford for helping us do the big work that keeps Uniontown moving forward!

This is a great opportunity for eligible individuals to gain valuable work experience, build new skills, and connect with opportunities that can lead to long-term employment.

The Uniontown Downtown Business District Authority (UDBDA) is excited to announce a new partnership opportunity with Fay-Penn Economic Development Council through the Stewards VISTA Program!

We are seeking a full-time AmeriCorps VISTA member who will serve directly with the Authority to help advance the Uniontown Downtown Business District and pursue participation in the Main Street Matters Program.

This position will play a key role in:
✔️ Strengthening downtown revitalization efforts
✔️ Supporting business development and district coordination
✔️ Advancing Main Street Matters designation and programming
✔️ Building long-term capacity for downtown growth
