I Just attended a prayer vigil for the lives of dogs lost at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter under the leadership of Michael Pastore. I believe we should give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I will meet with him to get his side of the story. We have to be opened minded before we judge anyone!

Rev. Calvin Butts was the keynote speaker for Councilwoman Dorothy Goosby's Kwanzaa celebration, where he spoke of the principles of Kwanzaa. He did such an amazing job! There were honorees such as my husband's friends Lorenzo Jenkins, who has a basketball program, Mrs. Grace Blake, the renowned film producer just to name a few. Congratulations to all of the honoree's from last night. We should always honor those who give back in a special way to the community. If we want change we need to be a part of that change. We can't yell and scream and speak about the problem and do nothing to fix it. We then become hypocrites and a part of the problem. The children need our help more now than ever before.

PLEASE DON'T JUST "LIKE" THIS STATEMENT PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY! Those volunteers that are ready to help collect signatures please inbox us for instructions. We need all hands on deck. We have to have 3,500 GOOD SIGNATURES to establish our party! I'm excited in what we are about to embark on and I know that God will give us the favor we need to accomplish our goal. This race is amazing. Kathleen Rice won as she predicted. We as citizens of the fourth district need to band together and hold our politicians accountable for their actions. Too many have run for re-election without any intention of holding that office. How can we hold their feet to the fire? These kind of actions can no longer go unchecked and left un-spoken about any longer. We NEED to do our share to insure that our government runs the way it is supposed to. No more politicians doing their own thing any longer. We need to say enough is enough!
