🇺🇸 September 11 — We Will Never Forget 🇺🇸

Today, the Franklin County Clerk’s Office joins our community and our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless men and women whose lives were forever changed by the events of that day.

We also remember the incredible spirit of unity that followed. Americans stood together, helped their neighbors, supported our first responders, flew our flag proudly, and reminded the world of the strength and resilience of our nation.

May we honor those we lost by continuing to show kindness, serve our communities, appreciate our freedoms, and stand together as Americans.

Today and always, we remember. We honor. We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙

NOVEMBER 3, 2026 GENERAL ELECTION UPDATE

With the November General Election quickly approaching, we now have clarification regarding the congressional districts that will be used for the upcoming election.

Franklin County has stayed completely in the second congressional district through this whole time due depending litigation regarding Missouri’s congressional district Maps our office has not yet published congressional candidate information while waiting official direction from Security State’s office.

Today, our office received guidance from the Missouri Secretary of State's Elections Division directing local election authorities to use the 2022 congressional map for the November 3, 2026 General Election. This direction follows the United States Supreme Court's stay and the Missouri Supreme Court order currently in effect.

Franklin County voters will therefore vote under the congressional district established by the 2022 map.

We have updated our November election information to meet all requirements and we will proceed forward with getting the ballots ready to meet the deadlines that we are required to do.

As always, our office will continue to follow guidance and court orders as they are issued and will provide voters with updated information as it becomes available!

The Franklin County Clerk’s Office is CLOSED today, Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.

Today, we recognize and celebrate the hardworking men and women whose dedication, determination, and contributions help keep Franklin County, our communities, and our nation strong.

We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable Labor Day! ❤️🤍💙

This past week, Franklin County Clerk Tim Baker and several members of his staff attended our annual conference. As part of the conference, attendees are required to complete 20 hours of continuing education, covering important updates, procedures, and responsibilities related to the duties of the County Clerk’s Office and the administration of elections!

While the training is an important part of keeping our staff knowledgeable and prepared to serve Franklin County, there’s always a little time for fun and friendly competition after class!

This year, for the first time, one of our own brought home the coveted “Slackers Award!” 😂🏆

Congratulations to our Director of Elections, Danyelle, who earned the award with the best score in mini golf! ⛳👏

Way to represent Franklin County, Danyelle! Apparently, those election skills transfer pretty well to the putting green! 😄

🐶 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Today, Franklin County Clerk Tim Baker is celebrating two very special members of the Baker family—Arya and the family's newest addition, Coco! ❤️

Coco, a handsome little boy, recently found his forever home after being adopted through the Franklin County Humane Society during the Bark Tie Gala hosted by Purina Farms.

His adoption is a wonderful reminder of the incredible work our local animal shelters and rescue organizations do every day to give pets a second chance!

National Dog Day is the perfect time to celebrate the unconditional love, loyalty, and joy our four-legged friends bring into our lives. If you're considering adding a furry family member, we encourage you to visit your local shelter and learn about the wonderful pets waiting for a loving home.

A special thank you to the Franklin County Humane Society and Purina Farms for helping make stories like Coco's possible.
