I want to thank all of my supporters, family and friends. Especially my husband Blake Luedtke, kids Karsten, Sutton and Evelee and puppy Brew who helped me put signs up and go door to door campaigning nightly for 2 weeks. And also Brock Luedtke who convinced me to run while home on winter break from college and helped with the social media aspect of running. That boy is wise beyond his years. I am very happy with how well I did, it was my first run for an elected position. I intend to run again, when there is another school board opening, hoping next year. THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT.

TODAY IS ELECTION DAY. The polls are open until 8pm. I was Voter #1 and Brock was #124. SO PROUD of him for taking the Badger Bus home this am to vote. He is now back to school/work in Madison. THANK YOU to all of my supporters. I sure appreciate all of the Good Luck messages that I have received yesterday and today, from my family and friends. EVERY VOTE COUNTS. THANK YOU.

True or False? An elected school board member can be both an outsider and an insider. The answer is true. Laura brings a wealth of worldly education experience to a school district she has collaborated with for almost fifteen years.
Laura is:
A. An educator at the third-largest school district in Wisconsin for nearly twenty years.
B. A citizen of the Village of Union Grove, WI, for nearly 15 years.
C. A mother of four children, all either students or former students at Union Grove Elementary School (UGES).

Let's make a great school district even better. In Laura, UGES will have an educator that has navigated students through uncertain times- including COVID 19 mandates and protocols. She has also taught students of all ages. But, most importantly, Laura loves UGES and only wants the best for the students. Her daughter and son are amongst these fantastic kids.
While she did not grow up in Union Grove, Union Grove has grown on her.
