Yakima County 4-H 4-H is for everybody: kids in the country, kids in the city and kids everywhere in-between! All youth from kindergarten through high school are welcome.

4-H is a community of young people learning leadership, community service, and life skills. As the premier youth development program of Washington State University, 4-H provides research-based curriculum to over 90,000 youth statewide with the help of 4-H Staff and nearly 6,000 dedicated adult volunteers. Extension programs and employment are available to all without discrimination. Evidence of no

🐥 10:30 a.m. – Poultry Clinic (Cloverbuds)
🐔 11:30 a.m. – Poultry Clinic (Junior, Intermediate & Senior Members)

📢 Important Reminder
All participants are kindly requested to arrive between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. for Pullorum-Typhoid (PT) Testing.

💲 PT Testing Fees
• $30 for the first animal
• $20 for each additional animal

🐓 Poultry Requirements
✔️ Birds must have adult feathers (no chicks).
✔️ Extra birds will be available for practice for members whose birds are too young to attend the clinic.
✔️ Please remember to bring your carpet squares!

Calling all graduating seniors involved in the West Valley Fair! 🎓

Friendly reminder that the West Valley Fair Senior Essay Contest is now open! This is your opportunity to reflect on your fair experiences, share how the fair has impacted your life, and highlight your future goals.

Each eligible applicant will receive a $200 scholarship add-on to help support their future plans!

📝 Open to graduating high school seniors who have participated in the West Valley Fair for at least one year prior to graduation. Open to both 4-H & FFA members.

📅 Entries Due: June 20

🐴Saddle Up for the 64th Annual Washington State Jr Horse Show!🍀

Join 4-H youth from across the state at the Grant County Fairgrounds, June 25–28, for four exciting days packed with clinics, competition, horsemanship, and fun! Whether you love gaming, dressage, trail, ranch horse, reining, English, Western, or public presentations — there’s something for everyone! Enter early as entries must be postmarked by June 18th.

4-H youth in the dairy cattle project are invited to join the Dairy Cattle Field day, June 20th 2026 at the WSU Knott Dairy Center. Learn more about dairy cattle sciences and general management, and participate in field demonstrations including general evaluation, clinical health assessment, nutrition, reproduction and milk quality!
