Join us on June 4 at 1:00 PM at Union City High School as we break ground on our grant/bond project and take the next step toward preparing and educating each child for their future.

This project reflects the commitment, support, and belief our community has shown in our students and schools. We are grateful for your partnership and look forward to celebrating together!

School Board Regular Meeting - May 18, 2026

Last week, we had the privilege to welcome Senator Elissa Slotkin to Union City Community Schools to recognize the many groups and individuals who supported our community in the aftermath of the tornado.
What made the event meaningful was that it was not a large political event, a packed gymnasium, or a media moment. There were no cameras or press conferences, just the people who were there in the moments our community needed them most.
It was about recognizing service, compassion, teamwork, and leadership.
We are incredibly grateful for the work of our local first responders, emergency personnel, public service departments, community partners, excavating crews, and our own Union City Community Schools Crisis Response Team, who helped provide support, coordination, and care during a difficult time for our community.
I appreciated Senator Slotkin’s willingness to make this a personal and sincere moment of recognition for those who stepped up when it mattered most.
We are proud to be Union City Community Schools!

Union City Family and Consumer Science is helping raise funds for a hydroponic garden system that will help grow produce to use in our Food Service Department. Each plant will be ready in 4-5 weeks and will be available for pickup the last week of school! As of right now, each plant has 10 starters that are growing currently in the classroom!

Hello everyone,

We wanted to share guidance regarding Sarah's visitation on Friday, which will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m at Lighthouse in Union City.

For our high school students, we are asking that those who are able to attend after school do so at that time. Students who are unable to attend after school due to athletics or other school responsibilities may attend during the school day.

If your student can not attend after school. Please complete this form so that we can adequately for Friday:

The district will provide transportation for students who need to attend during the school day.

Please also note that the funeral service will take place on Saturday. If you are unable to attend the visitation on Friday, you still have the opportunity to attend the service.
