➡️ The next scheduled pickup is Tuesday, September 29th.

📞 How to schedule:
Residents must call Waste Management at least one week in advance to be placed on the pickup list.
Call: 1-800-866-4460

🛋️ What can be picked up?
You can dispose of large household items such as:
• Mattresses
• Sofas
• Appliances
• Other oversized household items

✔️ Important Details:
• One bulk item per month is included with your regular service
• Additional items can be collected for an extra charge

🚨 Reminder:
If you do not call ahead, your item will NOT be picked up.

We’re adding one more Farmers & Makers Market to our 2026 season, and we’re ending our first market season with a fun Fall & Halloween-themed event! 👻

📅 Saturday, October 3rd
⏰ 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Union City Borough Gazebo & Municipal Parking Lot

Bring the family and enjoy:

👻 A trunk-or-treat style setup
🍬 Treats for the kids
🎃 Fall & Halloween decorations
🛍️ Local farmers, makers & small businesses
🍂 Fall fun for the whole family!

Vendors will be encouraged to decorate their spaces and hand out candy, so we’re hoping to make this a fun event for everyone!

We’re still accepting new vendors, including farmers, crafters, bakers, artists, food vendors, small businesses and more.

Our Union City Event Calendar is Going Digital!

We’re making it easier for residents to find out what’s happening in and around Union City!

Instead of using a printed event calendar that needs to be planned months in advance, we are moving to an online Event Calendar through the Union City Borough website. The calendar will be updated weekly, which means events can be added throughout the year as they are planned.

Have an upcoming public event you’d like to promote?

We’d love to help get the word out! Businesses, organizations, community groups, churches, schools, and residents can submit their upcoming public events through our online form.

When submitting your event, you’ll be able to:

• Share your event details
• Upload your event flyer
• Have your event added to the Borough’s online calendar
• Give residents the ability to add your event directly to their personal calendar
• Submit events as they are planned — no need to have everything scheduled months in advance!
