🍬🎃See you this afternoon!!🍭✨
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU TRICK-OR-TREAT! 🎃
Downtown Trick-or-Treat is coming up on Friday, October 30, from 3:00–5:00 PM! We're excited to welcome all of our little ghosts, goblins, princesses, and superheroes downtown for an afternoon of Halloween fun!
🚨 IMPORTANT: PLEASE FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONAL ARROWS ON THE MAP!
This year, we're asking everyone to walk in ONE DIRECTION on each side of the street, following the yellow dotted arrows on the map.
This means pedestrian traffic will flow in one direction on one side of the street and the opposite direction on the other side.
We're making this change to help reduce congestion, prevent families from constantly crossing paths, and create a safer, more comfortable experience for everyone. We know downtown can get crowded, and a little cooperation will go a LONG way! ❤️
🗺️ HERE'S HOW TO READ OUR MAP:
🟢 GREEN: FREE public parking areas.
🔴 RED: Streets that will be barricaded and closed to vehicle traffic to provide a safer walking environment for our trick-or-treaters.
🟣 LIGHT PURPLE: Areas where participating community organizations will be set up distributing candy along Washington Street toward the courthouse.
🟡 YELLOW DOTTED ARROWS: The direction we ask everyone to walk. Please follow these arrows throughout the event! If you follow the arrows, you will eventually circle back around to where you entered First Street.
🍬 DON'T FORGET TO EXPLORE ALL OF DOWNTOWN!
Our wonderful downtown businesses will be set up outside their storefronts handing out candy, just as they have in years past!
But remember, the businesses located along the red lines aren't the ONLY downtown businesses participating! Just because a business isn't located on First Street or along a barricaded road doesn't mean they aren't welcoming trick-or-treaters!
We encourage families to explore our side streets and visit the many businesses throughout downtown. You never know where you might find another sweet treat! 🍭
Please remember that streets outside the barricaded areas may remain open to vehicle traffic, so use extra caution when exploring.
We're looking forward to another fun afternoon in downtown Union City! Please take a moment to review the map before arriving, share it with friends and family, and help us keep things moving safely and smoothly.
A little planning, a little patience, and a whole lot of candy and fun! 🎃🍭
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
¡POR FAVOR, LEAN ESTA INFORMACIÓN ANTES DE VENIR A PEDIR DULCES! 🎃
