Hello everyone! Union City Emergency Services is excited to announce that we will once again be sponsoring the Union City After Prom.
๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿชฉ

After Prom is a great event that provides a safe space for students to enjoy Prom evening a little longer. The event includes free moonlight bowling, pizza and door prizes!

One of the things that the students are most appreciative of is the door prize event. Weโ€™re looking to, once again, gather door prizes from local businesses, local individuals, colleges, and organizations. Weโ€™re keeping our fingers crossed that we can get enough to send something home with every kid! ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ

If you own a local business, are part of an organization, or just a local citizen who wants to sponsor a door prize - you can contact Tasha Mock or drop off your prizes/donations to the Union City Police Department.

Some ideas for prizes include:

Restaurant gift cards
Gas gift cards
Visa gift cards
Dorm Room Essentials: bedding sets, picture frames, laundry items.
College gear
Summer Activities: Kings Island tickets, Dragons tickets, movie tickets.
Webb's Jewelry
Stanley cups
Bath and Body sets
Toiletries Gift sets
Video games

We appreciate each and every one of you who are willing to donate or share this post to ensure or students have a safe evening, filled with fun!

๐Ÿšจ Public Safety Notice ๐Ÿšจ

The Union City Police Department and Union City Fire Department would like to advise the public that we are aware there is a small, remaining fire within the structure that burned down yesterday in thr 100 block of E. Oak Street.

Due to freezing temperatures and frozen hydrants, the decision was made not to expend additional water or resources on a structure that is already fully burned. Water resources are being conserved in the event they are needed for another emergency.

Both firefighters and police officers will be checking the property frequently throughout the night to ensure the fire remains controlled and contained within the structure.

๐Ÿšซ Please do not call 911 regarding this incident, as emergency personnel are actively monitoring the situation.

We appreciate the communityโ€™s understanding and cooperation as we continue to prioritize public safety under challenging weather conditions.
Stay safe and warm.
