Good morning. We have the upcoming annual garage sales on June 1st. I, Anita took it over last year and will be unable to give my full attention to it due to my wedding the week before. If someone is willing to step in and help with the maps this year or if you would like to take it over I would be grateful for either. Happy spring weather today! At Monday nights council meeting it was decided to move the meeting time from 7pm to 530pm. They will remain on the 2nd Monday of the month unless noted. If you have any questions please contact Judy at City Hall. 218-826-6686

Good Morning, We have a gentleman going around town today selling books for school. He has been in contact with us and does have permission to sell door to door in town. Have a great week and don't forget to come out for the festivities this weekend!

Summer is nearing us! Heads up to all residents that the 34th Annual Rummage Sales will be Saturday June 3rd!! If you would like to be on the map please contact Anita Gumphrey at 218-371-6129 or stop at the city clerks office. The cost to be on the map will be $4! Also this year we are asking that you put a small description of what is on your sale! Please let us know by May 26th.

ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

The City of Underwood is accepting applications for a City Clerk/Treasurer. Serves as chief financial and administrative officer.
HS Diploma or equivalent required. Must be familiar with typing, calculations, bookkeeping/payroll, computer skills, grammar and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Application forms and job description are available at the City Clerk’s office at 120 Main Street South from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. weekdays or at the Liquor Store.
