The City of Ukiah is seeking an experienced and collaborative professional to serve as its next Director of Public Works and Parks/City Engineer.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic department while serving as the City’s City Engineer, overseeing the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and improvement of the infrastructure and public spaces that make Ukiah a great place to live, work, and visit.

✨ In this role, you will:
• Provide executive leadership and direction for the Public Works and Parks Department
• Serve as the City Engineer and provide professional engineering expertise
• Oversee capital improvement projects, infrastructure planning, and development
• Direct the operation and maintenance of streets, parks, facilities, and other public infrastructure
• Manage departmental budgets, contracts, and resources
• Lead, mentor, and develop a talented team of professionals and staff
