Tyler State Park - Texas Parks and Wildlife Tyler State Park was built by the Civilian Conservations Corps in the 1930s and is unique among CCC parks in Texas for its Modernist style.

This duck needs a name, and we need your help to pick it! ☝☝☝

UPDATE: parking has opened up and the park is open again.

The park has reached capacity at this time. Only visitors with reservations will be allowed to enter the park.

Those dog days are over! 🐶🐾

Our SPCA season has officially wrapped, and what a run it was. The Barks ’N’ Rec program held 4 events, walked 40+ dogs, and helped most of those sweet pups find their furever homes.

While the program is taking a little nap for now, don’t worry it’ll be back this fall. Keep your ears up and alert for our next Barks ’N’ Rec event if you want to join the fun and help even more pups stretch their legs and find their families.

This week Inland Fisheries paid Tyler State Park a visit! They conducted a fish survey to prove we actually have fish! We found some healthy bass and a mixture of bluegill, sunfish, warmouth, and catfish as well!

Fishing at Tyler State Park does not require a fishing license but you still must abide by fishing laws and limits.
