Rally Night was just the beginning! **Cub Scout Pack 369 meets TONIGHT**, and we’re kicking off the new Scouting year together.

Tonight, every den will begin its Bobcat Adventure—the first required Adventure for each Cub Scout rank and a great way to start the year! ⚜️

👨‍👩‍👧 New to Pack 369? We’ll also have a brief “New Family Orientation” for parents and guardians during the meeting to help you get acquainted with the Pack and answer questions.

👕 No uniform yet? No problem. Come anyway! We want your Scout participating, meeting their den, and having fun while your family gets settled in.

🐾 Still thinking about Cub Scouts? You’re welcome too! Come visit, meet our Pack, and see what a regular Cub Scout meeting is like.

⚜️ Pack 369 Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What happens if my Scout has to miss a meeting?

A: That's okay! 💙

We know families are busy! School events, sports, vacations, illnesses, and family commitments sometimes mean a Scout can't be at every meeting.

Cub Scouting is designed to work with busy family schedules. We encourage Scouts to participate regularly so they get the most out of the program, but missing an occasional meeting won't affect your Scout's membership in Pack 369.

If your Scout misses an activity or Adventure requirement, stay in touch with your Den Leader. We'll help your family figure out what was missed and, when appropriate, how your Scout can catch up.

The same goes for New Family Orientation! If you can't attend the next one, don't worry. We'll continue helping new families get oriented as they join us throughout the year.

🐾 Don't let a busy calendar keep your child from discovering Cub Scouting. Come adventure with us when you can!

⚜️ What a Night at Pack 369 Rally Night!

A BIG thank you to all the families who joined us for Cub Scout Pack 369 Rally Night! We loved seeing so many Scouts—both familiar faces and brand-new ones—exploring, creating, building, navigating, launching, and having fun together!

And thank you to all of our Pack 369 leaders, parents, and volunteers who helped make the evening possible. 💙

The best part? This was only the beginning!

Our next meeting is Monday, August 31, from 6:30–7:30 PM at Pollard United Methodist Church, when our dens will kick off the year by beginning their Bobcat Adventures.

🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL — BE PREPARED! ⚜️

As our Scouts and their friends head back to the classroom, Pack 369 wishes all of our students, teachers, school staff, and families a safe and fantastic school year!

The Scout motto reminds us to “Be Prepared.” Here are a few Scout-inspired ways families can start the year safely:

🚶 **Walk safely:** Use sidewalks and crosswalks, look both ways, and stay alert around traffic.

🚲 **Bike safely:** Wear a properly fitted helmet and follow the rules of the road.

🚌 **Be bus smart:** Stay back from the curb, wait for the bus to stop completely, and follow the driver’s instructions.

🎒 **Pack smart:** Carry only what you need and use both backpack straps to distribute the load.

👀 **Stay aware:** Know your family’s plan for getting to and from school, and never leave with someone unless your parent or trusted adult has approved it.

🤝 **Live the Scout Law:** A Scout is Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, and Kind. Look for the new student, help a classmate, thank your teachers, and make your school a better place.

Here’s to new friends, new adventures, and a great 2026–2027 school year!

🔥 Please help keep our East Texas community safe! 🔥

Pack 369 joins Tyler State Park in reminding everyone to follow the current Smith County Burn Ban and use extra caution outdoors during these dry conditions.

As Scouts, we know the importance of being responsible stewards of the outdoors and doing our part to prevent wildfires. 🌲⚜️

Be safe. Be prepared. Protect our parks and community.

Tyler State Park and Smith County is under a burn ban. ❌🔥❌

Open flames are prohibited during a burn ban but there are exceptions. People are still allowed to cook food in a grill or smoker that contains all open flames and have enclosed lids.

We will update you if there are any changes to the burn ban or if it has been lifted!
