VERY Merry Day Club Christmas Parties this week!! Special thanks to…. The Genesis Group and Kona Ice of Tyler for providing gifts, Santa #1 and elves!! Also to: My Texas Estate Plan PLLC, Michael Jones, Brookdale Senior Living and National Charity League, Inc., Tyler Chapter for the holiday lunches and gift wrapping! Korn Pop was Santa #2 and we appreciate you so much. Puppy visits are made possible by the SPCA of East Texas. Professional Photographs were offered by Katie Stone…a fabulous gift for the families!! Thank you!!

We had the the privilege of drumming with Casey Muze of AvenueSpeak LLC this week! There are numerous research proven benefits of including music, especially drumming, in a dementia program….cogitive, emotional and physical! So much fun!

WILD week at Day Club! The Creature Teacher visited with lots of animals to learn about and touch. Thank you to Visiting Angelsfor sponsoring the Tuesday visit!
We also painted wood lizards, made animal words with Bananagrams, ate well and danced.
Day Club would happen without faithful volunteers, meal sponsors and financial support from the community!! Thank you!

Today is International Day of Friendship! To celebrate, here are two of our friends in Day Club, Kelsey and Jo.
"She's wonderful, she watches over me," Jo said.
Kelsey said they have bonded over how they like living in East Texas, word searches, and being type A over their art projects!
"We are both independent women," Kelsey said, and Jo heartily agreed.
They also share a love of science--Jo worked at NASA for many years!
These two are just one pair of lots of good friendships we have in Day Club!
