NET Health

NET Health Our mission is to Prevent Illness, Promote Health & Protect Our Northeast Texas Communities.

Since 1900, 30 years have been added to the average life span of Smith County Residents. Of this, 25 of those years are due to Public Health initiatives such as clean water, safe food, and vaccinations. When Public Health does its job well, people are protected, and transmission of disease is prevented and controlled. NET Health was created by Smith County and the City of Tyler to serve this vital

Public Health role. NET Health was established by Smith County and the City of Tyler to serve area residents and provide vital Public Health services. Both entities committed to fund NET Health as part of the Cooperative Agreement made possible through Texas' Health and Safety Code.

🌱 This summer, let’s reconnect kids with where food really comes from.

In a world of screens, fast food, and convenience…
Learn, Grow, Eat, GO! helps kids get outside, get active, and get their hands in the soil. ☀️💧🥕

Through gardening, movement, and hands-on learning, kids will discover how food makes it from the ground to the table — all while building healthy habits along the way.

We’re proud to partner with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension to bring this experience to our community this summer!

📍 The Center for Healthy Living
