The Orr Elementary second graders had a royal visit! Our students had the wonderful opportunity to meet and visit with the Tyler Rose Queen at Orr Elementary. The Queen also invited our second graders to attend the Queen’s Tea this weekend!

For decades, local second-grade students have participated in this special Tyler tradition as junior hostesses, welcoming guests and helping with fans, programs, and water during the event.

Last week, Ms. Thompson’s 5th-grade scientists headed into the science lab to explore mixtures and TEKS 5.6A! 🧑‍🔬👩‍🔬

Students got hands-on as they investigated how different substances can be combined to create mixtures. We love seeing our Lion Cubs learning by doing, exploring, and discovering! 🦁💡
