UT Health Northeast Police Department The UT Health East Texas Police Department is recognized as a police agency throughout the State of Texas.

The University Police Department, under the direction of Chief Robert Cromley, is responsible for campus security at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. We are located in Building 717, a metal building located southwest of the main hospital building on Camp Fannin Ave. With a staff of commissioned police officers and guards, the Health Science Center has officers on duty 24 hou
