Keep Tyler Beautiful’s Park Service Day is just two weeks away!

Join us on Saturday, Sept. 19, as volunteers come together to help complete improvement projects at parks throughout Tyler. There are projects for all kinds of volunteers, and we’d love to have you join us!

Join Keep Tyler Beautiful on September 19 for a day of service in Tyler’s parks!

Whether you're part of an Adopt-a-Spot group, business, organization, church, neighborhood group, or just want to volunteer, we’d love to have you at our annual Park Service Day event. Be sure to tag someone who should join you!

Volunteers will work at parks throughout Tyler, including:
-Woldert Park
-The Glass Recreation
-Oak Grove Park
-City Park
-Crescent Park
-Emmett J. Scott Park
-Gassaway Park
-Hillside Park

Then, we’ll come together at the Glass Recreation for lunch, giveaways, and a chance to celebrate a day of giving back!

What will we be doing on Park Service Day? A little bit of everything! From painting and murals to creek cleanups and mulching, volunteers will help tackle projects that make Tyler’s parks cleaner, safer, and more welcoming. Come out, lend a hand, and help us Keep Tyler Beautiful!

On Sept. 19, volunteers will help with projects such as:
-Native garden and flower bed cleanup
-Basketball court and restroom murals
-Creek and pond cleanups
-Painting and refreshing signs, tables, and pavilions
-Clearing weeds from fall zones
-Spreading fresh mulch
-And more!

There’s a project for everyone, and groups of all kinds are welcome!
After the projects are complete, we’ll meet at the Glass Recreation for lunch, giveaways, and FUN.
