This morning, TIMA students and staff gathered at our flagpole for a moment of silence in remembrance of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the bravery of the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless families and communities forever changed by that day.

Twenty-five years later, we remember. We honor. We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙

🚤🌊 READY… SET… REGATTA!🌊🚤

Our 3rd grade maritime engineers have officially put their designs to the ULTIMATE TEST at TIMA’s annual Boat Regatta! 🛶⚓️🎉

This project started with students working in teams to design geometric boat bottoms, build scale models out of foil, test how much weight their prototypes could hold, collect data, and make improvements along the way. 📐🧠🔨📊

Then came the BIG challenge… taking those tiny prototypes and turning them into LIFE-SIZE CARDBOARD BOATS capable of carrying their teams!

All that designing, testing, problem-solving, teamwork, revising, and creativity came together as our students took to the water for the 3rd Grade Boat Regatta!

Some boats floated, some boats may have had other plans 😂💦, but EVERY team got to experience engineering in action!

This is what learning looks like at TIMA: dream it, design it, build it, test it… and then CLIMB IN! 🤩⚓️💙

👏 HUGE congratulations to our 3rd-grade engineers on completing this unforgettable PBL adventure!

🥕🍃🎨 Math + Art + Compost = Kindergarten magic! ✨

Our Kindergarteners put their learning into action as they explored shape patterns in math and used printmaking techniques to show what they know!

🔺🟢🟨 Students created their patterns using veggies 🥕🥬 that they had previously identified as great food sources for their compost bins! 🌱♻️

We love seeing our youngest learners connect math, art, science, and sustainability all in one creative lesson! 🧠🎨🌎💚
