Here is another one of our amazing volunteers. Natassha has been a volunteer since the end of last year. She has stepped into the role with a profound belief that you don’t have to do huge things to make a difference, you can do big things in small, intentional ways. For Natassha, advocacy is anchored in patience, grace, and the deep understanding that simply continuing to show up is a victory in itself. The most rewarding moments come when a child slowly lets their guard down, building a sense of trust that can alter their entire trajectory.

Natassha's core message to anyone considering becoming a volunteer is simple....you don’t have to fix everything or have all the answers, you just have to be a safe and consistent presence willing to listen. Natassha is a powerful reminder that having someone consistently in your corner can make a tremendous difference, one small victory at a time.

Thank you Got Style Salon for another year of your generosity in collecting school supplies for the children and youth in our program. At CASA, we provide school supplies for all of the children and youth in our program, not just at the beginning of the school year, but throughout the entire year.

When a child comes into care they do not come with much. The majority of the time they start over in a new school and need a new back pack and new school supplies.

Right now we have a very low inventory of school supplies. If you’d like to help us fill our shelves with school supplies, we’d love to hear from you! School supplies are on sale right now at most stores. We’d be so very grateful if you could help us restock our supplies.

CASA is very lucky to have Ruth Ann as part of our staff. She is kind, humble, and willing to jump in to help anyone. She loves the children she serves and the volunteers she works with. She is organized and thorough in everything she does.

Ruth Ann in her own words says, "I am incredibly blessed to be a mom of four and grandma to an amazing granddaughter. They have taught me how to love unconditionally and find the silver lining in any circumstance. Though I may not always have the right words, I care deeply and look for every opportunity to grow. Outside of my full-time work doing the meaningful job of helping children, you can find me spending time with family, baking cookies, reading cookbooks, or gardening. I'm grateful for the lessons life has taught me and the chance to make a difference and I still firmly believe chocolate should be a required food group!"
