The **Twin Falls Animal Shelter will be CLOSED for the day** so our staff can head out and help with the **15th Annual Pooch Splash!**

We'll be checking people in, helping with the event, probably getting soaked at some point 😂 and doing everything we can to make this year's Pooch Splash one to remember!

So if you pull up to the shelter and wonder where everyone went…

🇺🇸 WE REMEMBER. 9•11•2001 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the incredible courage shown by so many.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, volunteers, and everyday people who ran toward danger to help others.

And as an animal shelter, we also remember the hundreds of search-and-rescue dogs and their handlers who worked tirelessly at Ground Zero and the Pentagon—searching through rubble, offering comfort, and standing beside their human partners during unimaginable circumstances. 🐾

Their bravery reminds us of something we see every day: the extraordinary bond between people and animals, especially in the moments when we need each other most.

❤️ Today we honor the fallen.
🤍 We remember the heroes.
💙 We will never forget.
