There are only a few days left to sign up for our TK/Kinder Boost Program! This special opportunity is designed for new incoming TK and Kindergarten students who have never attended school before and will help prepare them for a successful start to the school year.

TK/Kinder Boost Benefits:
Introduces students to the school environment
Builds comfort, confidence, and excitement about starting school
Teaches early routines, expectations, and readiness skills
Strengthens connections between families and school staff
Helps identify student needs early and connect families to supports

Program Dates: June 22 to 26

Time: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Summer School Host Sites:
Onaga Elementary School
Oasis Elementary School
Yucca Mesa Elementary School

Transportation is provided from your child's home school to the host site each morning. Parents/guardians are responsible for pick-up at dismissal.

Students must be fully enrolled in MUSD for the 2026/27 school year to attend.

Today Nutritional Services is distributing the first week of summer meal boxes full of fruit, veggies, milk and so much more! We still have some meal boxes left at Twentynine Palms Elementary School and Yucca Valley Elementary School. Stop by now and get them before they're gone.

The ribbon has been cut, the doors are open, and the first Measure C project is officially complete!

Twentynine Palms Junior High's new kitchen is ready to serve students for years to come. Thanks to the support of Morongo Basin voters, this project is the first visible step in a larger commitment to improving schools across the district. We can't wait to serve the first students their lunches in the new facility this August.

On June 8, the Morongo Unified School District celebrated the opening of the new kitchen at Twentynine Palms Junior High School. This project marks the first major construction project completed with funding from Measure C, the local school bond approved by Morongo Basin voters. The new kitchen represents an important investment in the district’s facilities and demonstrates the community’s commitment to supporting local schools and students.
