⚠️ Scam Alert – Macon County Residents

Citizens of Macon County, please be advised of an ongoing scam involving callers claiming to be from Amazon. These individuals state there is a missing payment and falsely threaten that the Franklin Police Department will be looking for you. This is a scam. Amazon and law enforcement will not contact you in this manner or demand personal or financial information over the phone. Do not provide any information. If you receive a call like this, hang up immediately and report the incident to your local authorities.

Reminder!!! Our Annual Christmas Tree Lighting is tomorrow December 5, 2025 at 6pm. Everything will be moved inside just in case of the rain. We will have 3 food vendors here for you to choose from. Come and enjoy the food and fellowship with your neighbors.
