At 3:51 pm Tuscumbia Fire Protection District was dispatched to a Vehicle that had been swept off of the Saline slab by the high water. 6 personal and 2 Fire Trucks responded. Moreau Fire Protection District was also requested to assist with 1 Fire Truck and 2 personal. We would like to remind everyone, to TURN AROUND AND NOT DROWN..

At approximately 2:00 pm Tuscumbia Fire Protection District was dispatched for mutual aid to Eldon Firefighter Association for a commercial structure fire. We responded with 2 apparatus, 6 fire fighters and 1 cadet firefighter. We were on scene for just under 5 hours. We were joined by Moreau Fire Protection District, Rocky Mount Fire Protection District, Lake Ozark Fire, Osage Beach Fire, Brumley Fire Protection District, Cole County Fire, Versaillies Rural Fire, Miller County Ambulance District, Miller County Sheriff’s Association, Eldon Police and Eldon 811 Dispatch. A special thanks to Show Me Custom Window Tinting for opening your building for a rehab area. As always we are so fortunate to have great relationships with all of our mutual aid partners.

If you travel highway 17 around the Saline Conservation Area, there is a fire that has been burning for a couple days and will continue to burn until we get significant amount of rain. Conservation has a large dozer line around the fire and it is completely contained at this time.
