The GFWC-Washington Township Volunteer Women’s Organization has folded but many of the women joined another great group The Gloucester County Women’s Club. We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month during Sept-Jun at the Mantua Township Community Center, 111 Mercer Avenue, Sewell at 7 pm except in April.

The WTVWO would like to say Thank You to all of our members through the 30 years we were together and for all the support through out the community. We could not have done all the good we have done without all of you. We celebrated our 30 years and closed this chapter of our club. The club has folded but many of the women will continue the great work in other clubs and organizations. Take Care and Thank You!

Come out to Super Saturday tomorrow from 10-3:30 at the Washington Lake Park Amphitheater. Stop at our table to purchase a raffle ticket(s) to have a chance to win a picture frame containing gift cards totaling $250. Also, a chance to win a huge teddy bear. There will be free face painting and balloon art (12-3); inflatable and mechanical rides ($10 wristbands); pony rides ($5/ride) and more at Super Saturday.

The Pepper Peace Project-Come out at 6:30 on Wednesday, April 22 with your friends and family for a demonstration that may keep you safe. The Cianfrani brothers will have a personal safety/self defense workshop to teach you how to recognize and avoid dangerous situation; reduce the odds of being targeted; to defend yourself in an attack situation; pepper spray basics. Also, NJ legal pepper spray will be available for purchase at the end of the demo for cash/check.me

Come out this Saturday, April 11th to a huge Community Yard Sale from 8-2 in the parking lot of the Cherry Tree Crossings on Hurffville-Crosskeys Rd. It's the parking lot where A&S Pizza and Mandarin Inn is located. There will also be vendors.

We had a great turn out tonight at our Chinese Nite Out! 57 women playing bingo for gift cards and candles and eating Chinese food. All the funds will help support different local charities. Thank You to Everyone!
