City of Turner, Oregon Turner is a small city 7 miles south of Salem, Oregon, just east of I-5. Founded in 1905, it currently has a population of 2866.

It is the home of Aldersgate Retreat Center, Turner Retirement Homes and the Oregon Christian Convention. Mill Creek winds through the town while the sorrounding hills offer great views of the Cascades as well as great wineries, such as Willamette Valley Vineyards.

Hello, Turner! As the season changes and weather improves, there will be more signs going up for work, sales, campaigns, etc. Please remember to adhere to the City Code (SECTION 5.136 SIGNS) regarding placement of signs. Never place signs on private property without written permission from the property owner, keep signs out of City right of way, and do not hang signs on poles.
