Community of Veterans for Veterans, we help with the negative use of PTSD/TBI in family and criminal court, active duty or reserve/national guard from legal actions due to their service commitments, suicide prevention and awareness. This is a community for all Veterans to share their stories of PTSD with or without TBI being used in the court systems against you with no other justification than yo
u have PTSD. Across America these situations lead to restraining orders that have no just cause which in turn you lose quality time with your children, or its being used during court mediation for child custody and you are getting less time than you deserve due to these false claims. This community is for the innocent Men and Woman that fought for their country and the rights of freedom, to come home to the legal system turning their backs on the Veteran. This community is being set up with goals that we will achieve together in changing state and federal legislation on protecting our rights that we were willing to go fight for. Step one is getting stories from the community about these ongoing situations where the only cause was PTSD, this is not a site to blast your ex-spouse or soon to be ex-spouse, just tell us your story of how PTSD was used against you and that you have had no negative contact with law enforcement due to outbursts or acts of domestic violence on your spouse or children. Step two is a two phase plan, first we will be taking donations through our 501 (C) 3, to be able to secure legal help starting with veterans that cannot afford legal help due to low retirement allotment or income. This legal help will be for restraining orders that are due to unjust filings with no other evidence, or representation for custody hearings. Second we get the communities stories in front of our Congressmen and Women, state Senators and Legislative representatives to push this issue up Capitol Hill. Step three, gaining a relationship with licensed therapists that specializes in PTSD treatment, along with communication skills between both parties for the children. Having group meetings for moral and mutual support knowing that you are not alone. For those of you that live in rural areas of your state, getting the Veterans Affairs to cover offsite therapy closer to home. We are setting up relationship's with vocational schools to get scholarships and donations to get PTSD and TBI Veterans back to work with job placement upon finishing school. Our main goal with our services that we will be providing is to lower the number of Veteran suicides due to not having the help they need and to not feel so overwhelmed with these problems. Suicide is not the solution to their problems, its the end of their problems. We here at PSR are trying to give them the solutions, or be standing next to them while trying to find the solution.
