We had a great turnout for our TUSD Family Resource Center Open House! Special thanks to Los Luceros de Osborn and Los Essentials for their performances.

The Family Resource Center is here to support our families—food pantry, health & hygiene products, schools supplies, parent workshops, referrals, and much more. You are welcome here! 💛

🚦 S — Stop: Pause before clicking links or opening attachments.
🚦 T — Think: Is the message expected and from a trusted source?
🚦 O — Observe: Look for suspicious senders, unusual requests, or urgent messages.
🚦 P — Protect: Report suspicious emails or activity through the district’s established reporting process.

You don’t have to know if something is malicious to report it. When in doubt, STOP and report!

On Saturday, 39 students from Pitman and Turlock High Schools, including members of the CA Ivy League Project, attended College Information Day and the UC Berkeley Showcase! 🎓

Students explored campus, visited a college resource fair, attended workshops, enjoyed lunch in a campus dining hall, and even took advantage of free rides to the top of the iconic Campanile!

A special thank-you to Mia Peterson, Pitman High School Class of 2025 graduate and former CA Ivy League Project scholar, for joining us!

TUSD had over 1,000 3rd grade students in attendance at today’s Ag Edventure Day, which was provided at no cost by the Stanislaus Farm Bureau. There were over 40 volunteer presenters:

Thank you to everyone who attended our TUSD Family Information Night on Generative Artificial Intelligence at Turlock Junior High School. We appreciate the support of our TUSD administrators and partners at Stanislaus County Office of Education for sharing important information about what is happening with Generative Artificial Intelligence in schools, available resources from the State for parents, and AI tools students are using. At last night’s TUSD Board of Trustees meeting, we recognized the following community organizations and members for their generous donations in support of our students, schools, and programs:

▪️Applebee’s $1,192 donation and $150 in school supplies to the Family Resource Center
▪️The Fade Room $1,000 worth of backpacks and school supplies to the Family Resource Center
