In celebration of America Recycles Day, we are excited to be partnering with Goodyear again on a FREE TIRE RECYCLING DAY!

Please take this opportunity to rid your yard, neighborhood, and community of unwanted tires for FREE!

If you or a group would like to help with this event, please message us. We need volunteers to collect prior to and the day of as well as load tires that morning. Come workout with us and sling some tires!

Atmos Energy will be replacing gas lines in Downtown Tupelo starting tomorrow morning, Oct. 8. This work will begin in the northern lane of Magazine Street between South Green Street and South Spring Street. Traffic flow on South Broadway Street will not be affected. All businesses will be able to function, but roadside parking may be hindered on Magazine Street. Updates will be provided when work zone moves from this section to other streets.

The City of Tupelo's Public Works Department will have a contractor milling and/or paving streets in the following areas, weather permitting:

September 2
Englewood Drive
Maynard Drive
Staci Circle
Ann Circle
Modeannia Street
Lynette Circle
Shea Street

We are requesting that no vehicles be parked on the street between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. to allow for street improvements to be performed.
