Public awareness post... On Tuesday, the 12th, Wednesday, the 13th, and Thursday, the 14th, near the Mill district in downtown Tupelo, BNSF and Kansas City railroad will be providing in-depth training to the Tupelo Fire Department and first responders. If you see a heavy emergency vehicle presence there or high-level hazmat suits being used, be aware that this is all part of the training.
We would like to thank BNSF and KCS for providing the training.

Also, if any departments or first responders are interested in attending the training, some spots are available at no cost. Contact Deputy Chief of Operations Jesse Clock at [email protected].
